Distinct Storage was created by our owner, Heather, who grew frustrated whenever she had to utilize storage for her family. She is joined by her husband, Paul (a Roxbury native), their 8 year old son, Jackson, and Ella their 1 year old puppy. You may even see them driving around Town in their old, beat up pickup truck “Ole Red” spreading joy and Christmas cheer when they decorate it with thousands of lights handing out candy canes to all they see!

Heather and Paul live 7 minutes from the facility, ensuring that they always are within a quick drive of ensuring that your belongings are safe and secure. Most of the other storage facilities in Town are owned by large corporations, or out of Town owners who you will not see on site. Paul and Heather visit the site daily to ensure that you have the best experience possible.

Distinct Storage was created because Heather and her family saw that self storage could be done much better! They took note of everything they hated about their self storage experience and made sure that Distinct Storage is the opposite.

At Distinct, you don’t pay for a moving truck, it is part of the perks of renting here. When you enter, you are greeted with a smile, a cold drink (or freshly brewed coffee) and snacks on the house. There is free wi-fi throughout, music playing and phone charging stations on each floor. Heather even scoured the globe to find oversized pneumatic tires for the loading carts to make them as easy as possible to use. And have you seen the spotless bathroom?!?!
